Internet Bookable Appointments

These appointments are for routine and follow-up appointments only (10 minutes only).  For any other type of appointments e.g. Baby 6-8 week checks, coil insertions/removals, minor op's, any medicals and all nurse related appointments, please call the practice.

Calling for Results

Please call AFTER 11am.  Results WILL NOT be given before this time and reception staff will ask you to call back if you call before.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Missed Appointments

A total of 127 patients failed to attend their GP or Nurse Appointments between Jan-Apr 2017 which was a Total of 21 Hours of wasted Clinical Time.  This is a waste of NHS Resources and Increase waiting times for appointments.

Urgent Medical Problems

Please ring the surgery in the morning from 08:00 to get a timed appointment on weekdays.  Please ensure you arrive in good time.

Telephone Advice

If you require telephone advice please call after 10:00 and inform reception.  A GP will call you back after morning surgery.  Please ensure that the practice has your correct contact details.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
