You can refer yourself directly to a psychological therapies service (IAPT) without seeing your GP.
These services offer therapies,such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), for common problems including:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Phobia
